Todd Londagin 5 at Gallow Green, this Sunday the 14th!

Hi Peoples,

It just so happens that I've been really busy lately, performing for weddings just about every weekend.  Now I finally have a gig that I can invite friends to!  My band and I often sub for Michael Arenella and his Dreamland Orchestra when he gets overbooked, so I'll be stepping in for him at the swank Gallow Green this Sunday.  I've never been, but from what I understand it is quite the relaxed, vintage throwback and I'm really looking forward to it.

I hope to see some familiar faces, and have a ball playing three sets with my favorite musicians!  (Pete Smith, Matt Ray, David Berger, and Jennifer Vincent.)

New website, finally!

Well Mer and I have been talking about it for years and now it has happened, albeit a little hastily thrown together.  I wanted something easier for me to update, and viewable on those neat Apple products that we all know and love, but that don't support Flash.  I'm still figuring out how to do this, so this is still in the tweaking phase.

One of the things I need is to tweak is my contact information.  I am trying to avoid attracting spam bots to my address so I need to find an online form, but in the mean time you can email me at twl (at) this website.

You can hear some new recordings on the music page, they are newly minted cuts from my upcoming demo.  Many thanks to Matt Ray who produced them.  Eventually I will be printing a new cd with these and a few more songs, so look out for that!

The band shot was taken by Ben Hoffmann.  I have others from that shoot that I will put up soon.

I find it pretty funny that I now have a blog, as if my musings are that important, but I discovered that this is probably the best way for me to keep a gigs page.

Speaking of gigs, I have been keeping fairly busy with private events large and small, but nothing public is on the schedule at the moment.  I have my feelers out there for the right venue, if you have any suggestions let me know.  Having a regular date in the city, either once a week or month would be a good thing.

Last weekend I led a private event, and the lineup was so much fun I thought I'd share it with you:  Matt Ray (piano, voice), David Berger (drums), Jennifer Vincent (bass), Pete Smith (guitar 1), Charlie Caranicas (trumpet), J. Walter Hawkes (trombone, uke, voice), Toby Williams (voice), Mark McCarron (guitar 2) and Everett Bradley (voice, percussion).  Wow what a fun and inspiring night!  I'm going to find a way to get them together again for a not-so-private event.  Something else for you to look out for.

Thanks for stopping by, let me know what you think!

Best,

Todd
